30+patients today.
2 .. I'm not kidding 2!! women came in today because their spouses were leaving both in tears and asking me how it could happen.
These are days when , if we spend more than 10 minutes with a patient,we are getting WAY behind.
A preacher friend of mine comes in with a cold and tells me he is considering leaving the church he built.
These are people I can't cut off (not that I want to anyway) but it turns into a 6a.m. to 6:30 p.m. day without lunch
(I know wah wah)
Anyway I get home and they are all waiting supper so we sit down and eat.The kids are all trying to get attention so I am hearing 3 conversations at once getting louder and louder.
My escape from everything is my pad. If i don't have time for anything else I vege by posting a pic and some nonsensical words.
5 minutes into tonights pad Walker , my 7 year old who thrives on affirmation ,plops this contraption in front of me on top of the keyboard!!

WHAT IS THAT?? I said
He looked at me a little hurt and told me it was a fold out picture he made for me at school.
After I kicked myself I asked him all about it and luckily made up for my dumb move.
Cristi rightly pointed out that my pad's can be a little skewed,i am not as forthcoming with my not so proud moments

SO in that light , above is one of my not so great moments.


Kids,when you have your own family and show them their dead grandpa's pad,they will chuckle at this one 8*)
