Bald Eagle 8741

Bosque del Apache, New Mexico

Among many other raptors, birds, ducks, etc., Bald Eagles winter at the Bosque del Apache
near Socorro, New Mexico. They were not there yet when I visited in October and I was thrilled
to find them on this visit! They are never very close, though, and restrictions prohibit one
from going any closer to them.

I find it interesting to see a bald eagle in this environment, but a great capture of it all the same.
