Thanks for all of your wonderful comments on my shot of the Apache Power Station.
Down the road from there is the Apache Station Wildlife Area where I arrived just before 5:00 p.m.
I started leaving at about 5:30 after having seen absolutely nothing! As soon as I reached my car
I heard the Sandhill Cranes overhead. I rushed back up to the viewing area and got lots of pictures.
They never did come very close, though, so most of my shots were from quite a distance.
