This is a scale rendition of Pompeii as it was in the late 1800's. More has been excavated since then so it's outdated.

There were hundreds of these guys around the top of the wall in this room. Probably 7 or 8" tall
These colors - black, red & gold - were used in many of the homes.

Bakery. They used wooden poles inserted in the holes to turn the grinders to grind the wheat for the bread.
