July, 2008, we spent 6 nights at Mashatu Tent Camp. Mashatu is a Rattray's camp and is in the Tuli Block in Botswana. The Mashatu ranger picked us up at the South Africa/Botswana border and drove us to camp. We left our car on the South Africa side. Mashatu is also where the National Geographic web cam is at Pete's Pond. We drove (4 women, really 3 women and one young teen) from Johannesburg to Mashatu and then after Mashatu we drove to MalaMala.

The pictures will show you what we saw.
