Before I was recently hospitalized, I had been working
to beautify this ditch behind my place;
carried in a lot of rocks, and began planting everything I could gather.
It still needs a lot of work, but is looking better.
For years it had been filled with fall leaves that held on to moisture and tended to smell
and breed mosquitoes.
