"LET'S GO TO THE EX"

A gathering of Elvis tribute artists from all parts converged in Toronto
today to serenade and to escort the first guests through the Princes'
Gates, marking the beginning of the 126th annual running of
The CNE (the Canadian National Exhibition).

Each year, the "EX", as it's affectionately known, runs for two weeks
from mid-August until the end of the Labour Day Weekend.

And as kids growing up in Toronto, the EX always came to symbolize
our "end of summer hurrah"; the unspoken "last call" before each
new school year was about to begin.
