As the years pass by there comes a time when one realizes that time waits for no one. My wife, Mary, passed away this May. Now I am going through all of the boxes and boxes of "stuff" that we have accumulated over the years, literally thousands of photographs, both from ourselves, my parents and even grandparents. Wow! Most will end up in a landfill. Today I came across this letter from Marshall Morgan to my father - best friends since 1934. It is written in pencil and faded. I took it into Photoshop and did the best I could in Levels to make it more readable without retouching it and destroying its character. I must say that my eyes watered up a wee bit when I read of Mrs. Morgan's (Marj) medical problems and Mr. Morgan's (Marshall) too. My memories of them are strong and happy.
They meant a lot to me. Sad to read of their decline.
