James Johnston

This is my great grandfather, James "Jim" Johnston. He was a much loved family man and a very successful farmer. I heard many wonderful stories about him and how shrewd a business man he was. Unfortunately I do not have a very good photograph of him as an adult. Notice that strong, Viking, Johnston jaw. None of us seem to have inherited it though.

Clifford, where are you??Are you related to Jim and Nancy Johnston from Stayner? they are all farmers! my grandfather was Dr. John Gowanlock Johnston. He died in 1918 from influenza while looking after three of his patients. my grandmother was Annie Imogene Shrifgey Johnston.
