I don't think I've ever seen this tulip bloom before. I like the pink tips...
A few years back I planted a variety of tulips and I've never seen blooms from many of them considering the deer tend to eat them.... "Oooh a Tulip about to Bloom. I think it's snacktime... MUNCH.." This one was hiding under a pine branch and hence was overlooked....
