Lonely in Peacock Hall Theater

Lonely

Adjective: Definition of lonely
1a : being without company : lone
b : cut off from others : solitary

Just one person in Rossmoor's Peacock Hall, a 150-seat theater for residents to enjoy films and lectures. (Rossmoor is an ACTIVE Adult Community of ~10,000 people mostly 55 and over. One spouse has to be 55 to buy a home.

BTW, I highly recommend the movie Eddie the Eagle....about the UK ski jumper that won the hearts of millions as he was not a competitive jumper but was fulfilling a lifelong dream of being an Olympian.

Betting this person is glad that they won't have to listen to other people munching on their treats, crinkling the wrappers, listen to cell phones and talkative people, etc.! ;) Great shot Flo! V

Fantastic shot and I think it could easily fit the definition of lonely. V

It's a beautiful image and works well for the challenge.
Loneliness is not straightforward, as shown on a recent TV programme here in the UK. They interviewed an attractive 25 year old blonde lady who said she felt very lonely but if you saw her would think she had loads of friends. Conversely, a 65 year old woman had her dream house miles away from anyone else, and she was eternally happy!

I think this is perfect for 'lonely'. On the other hand, perhaps this person is merely alone, not necessarily lonely? I can relate to that.

I can really relate to this photo. It happened to me once when I went to an early week-day matinee for a film that had already been out for quite a while.
I don't remember feeling lonely, but it sure was incredibly weird! ~V~

I really like this for Lonely. Like the composition, gives lots of head room and sense of space.. V
