Horses having their teeth "floated." A veterinarian or equine dentist files down the teeth for a smooth chewing service, removing sharp edges that can cut the inside of the horse's mouth.
A horse that appears to have difficulty chewing or is dropping food out of is mouth is often indicative that they have sharp edges or a bad tooth.
