I stopped by to see the result of the recent fire that destroyed St. Louis Church. The Church had been closed for some time, and the property was sold. The new buyer was going to open a sports shop in the building. The fire sealed the fate of the oldest standing Catholic Church in town. The twin towers were a well known landmark and will be missed. I was not able to get a good view, as the property is fenced off, and I had to shoot through a chain-link fence. The remaining walls will be knocked down in the next few days.
