I grew up camping in the shadow of this mountain every year as the highlight of my youth. I reached the summit with four of my children on my 50th Birthday. I've ridden the Shasta Summit Century and climbed a northern route a few days later. I've loved the gift of this mountain and the gift of your artistry has allowed me to peek at it in all it's glory whenever I need to feel refreshed. Thank You!

Spectacular photographs of a truly majestic mountain. We drove over/by Mount Shasta in a pounding hail storm in late March on our way to San Francisco, CA from Lake Oswego, OR for Spring Break and could not even see the mountain! Thank you for sharing these beautiful photographs.

Wow, Great Gallery. I love this mountain. It's one of the few Cascades I've returned to climb more than once. You have done such a nice job capturing it's many moods. Your lenticular shots explain why so many legends arise in conjunction with this mountain, from UFO theorists to Native American Lore. I really enjoyed it. -Hudson

I am from Redding, lived there till I left to get Married, in 1986. I live in AZ now, and its nothing compared to Redding/Shasta/Lassen, its the most beautiful place on earth to me! Great pictures

Big Vote to you. What a nice collection of awesome shots!! I first climbed this July 23rd, 1977 and is just a wonderful Mt. with so many moods.. At the time ,hippies around the little town of McCoud said little " Hobbit Like Creatures" lived in the moutain inself..

I have two friends who are avid hikers and who have never seen the mountain, so I spent the morning looking for pics of Shasta that even partly captured the experience of being in the mountain's presence. Of course this is near to impossible, but of all the pics that I looked at (several hundred) yours came closest and indeed bring on the ineffable feeling of seeing this amazing mountain. I especially like "Mount Shasta from Pluto's Cave". Thank you for sharing these photos.

beautiful pictures have you been to the big sur coast? there is some gorgeous areas around middle big sur near cone peak,limeliln state park and nacimiento fergusson road .i'm sure you can bring out some amazing new ways to enjoy big sur like you did with the shasta pictures.proably the best i've seen on mount shasta!
