Dave from what the mechanic told me is they cost about 100 each installed, I googled it and actual sensors were about 50.00 each so I'm assuming that they charge 50 each to install and reprogram with the computer. Sounds high to me but what do I know where if they were 50 each installed I wouldn't balk as much. Paul

Don't look if you want to avoid being seduced.

$100 apiece seems high for TPS sensors. I paid less than $50 each for sensors for my Alfa's snow tires. I agree with not skimping on tires.

I think a Raptor is too much vehicle for a high school kid. Do you know how powerful they are? Of course the new Ram is no slouch; it tops out at 1,000 lb-ft of torque.

Since I’m not in the market for a new truck I haven’t looked at the new models. Mine is low mileage and still going strong. STUPID TPS MONITORS! My mechanic tells me to expect about 100 bucks each to replace and the tires have roughly 10 K left at about 250 each my next tire replacement is gonna be around 1500 unless I get cheap tires and ignore the..... nope not going cheap, I know better. I’m not 25 years old and living paycheck to paycheck.

Yikes I digressed so back on topic. I looked up the Raptor and that beast is a good 7 inches wider than mine is and I have trouble parking as it is with the poor turning radius. I can’t imagine pulling into the Home Depot parking lot, I’d have to park in the back so no more parking in the dedicated veteran parking spots at Lowe’s. Paul

Not a great shot, I know, but OK given what I was using and how much time I committed.

Industry preview tickets are easy to score. Next year's show will be in June and is expected to be accompanied by many outdoor activities. Having it in January gave people a reason to go downtown. Other events will be needed to help keep the city lively.

I like getting a new car every 2-3 years. Mine is a 2017 model and was the newest car in the family "fleet" until a couple of weeks ago. Now we have a couple of 2019s, and it's the oldest.

My car's tire pressure monitors work fine. I just wish they would compensate for PV=NRT. I'm getting a low-pressure warning despite 33-35 psi all the way around cold. A few highway miles warms them, and the pressure increases to the recommended 35-37 psi.

What do you think of the latest F-150? A classmate of my daughter's drives a Raptor and can't manage to fit it into a single parking space. He's wide on the road with it, too.

Wait a minute I just looked this event up and it doesn’t start up till today so how did you get in early? Paul

I’ve never been what you would call “a car guy” so I’m obvious to what this event is. I assume.... possibly Detroit showing their new models for the coming year??? Like I said I’m not a car guy. My wife’s sister and her husband on the other hand get new automobiles every few years.

My Ford F-150 work truck will be in service 10 years in July. Blasted tire pressure monitors tho, dam if they aren’t getting annoying. “Tire Pressure Sensor Fault” My wife’s car is a 2005 Hyundai is well cared for and still going strong. Paul

Now that is a bright red.
From what I have read, I understand that this is the last year for this show to be in the winter. Next year it is in the summer (or at least warmer weather). When I worked for GM, I always disliked this in the winter.
