Dave, it's the standard story:

An elderly, though charming man walks wobbly legged out of the relentless surf and sees a thin, very well dressed young woman in ridiculously inappropriate shoes, hi-heels actually, clear like Cindarella's glass slippers, standing high on the concrete steps leading to the surf that have been partially washed away by the ocean, leaving a 3 foot step to the sand. He smiles and laughs at her shoes, mostly because he is not capable of walking further out of the surf, (ocean swimming will do that to an old man), and the shoes are almost eye level from him being still partially in the ocean.

Etc, Etc, Standard Story, old man, strikingly lovely woman...(see end video, but see also the lobster at 1:05 in the first video scampering away on the sea floor that I did not see until downloading the video {as a favor, does the noise in this 1st video bother people? I don't know where it is coming from...I am only free diving with a snorkel....hummm; 2nd video is with the D77, but in near total darkness)

As Paul asked, did you bring these with you and set up the shot, or were they there waiting?

I appreciate your thoughts on anything...always.

However, I like the context as much as the subject...the brokeh that often are people, to me, with some emotional ties to the place...just great.

Actually, I started a story tonight thanks to your prompting missive...I'm not writing much fiction any more...but this was interesting.

We'll see.

So, Paul, thanks for everything...you have more influence than you might think.

I use a iPad a lot to view these images and by doing that it allows for easy zooming in. I try not to offer advice or my personal thoughts for improvement but a closer crop filling the frame with those shoes may make your photo even stronger than it is now. Paul

I so very much like this found scene? The speculation highlights and the kiss of Amber under the shoe really sets it off. Nice! Paul
