I took my granddaughter to the MN Zoo, and we arrived in time for the training of this Amur Leopard. She comes to a training stick, does what is asked, like lay on her side, and is given a meaty treat. When laying on her side, she is poked with a stick - this trains her to accept that poke, and later they might use a needle to inject medicine into her.
Right now she is looking at her built in clock waiting for the training & treats to start.
