Paul - thanks. This was taken with flash. That really helps. When I have been out in the field, I try to avoid using it (against all recommendations). I view it as a challenge - and I am currently not winning it.
Anyway, we leave for MN on June 2. I am pretty sure that I will return around the 1st week of August for 10 -14 days in order to shoot the monsoon storms and lightning. I intend to chase them all over southern Arizona.
It’s apparent something has fallen into place for you with the macro lens because your nailing them now. I woul imagine you guys will be heading back north sometime soon since the mercury is rising quick in both locations. Paul
