Sweet Landings (in 3-D)

Is the bottom flower too red...should I try to lighten them...I think I can....hummmm...I like this picture so I don't mind doing extra work on it.

Edit: I have worked this and decided to leave the lower shadows alone...they can't be fixed (by me), and probable should not be fixed...it is what it is.

I love the bee.

I not quite sure if and how I would change the shot.
How did it appear to your eye? Was the shadow more dark, or still red.
Canon's are well known to produce over saturated and bright reds.
If I did anything, I might tone down the reds a bit - nothing else.

BTW, the crop is fine with me. My eye goes right to the bee on the 1/3rds line.

I agree with Dave, don’t jack with it, it’s well done, very interesting and could be a contending shot just as it is. If I was doing thing I’d crop it in a little tighter so your lower shadowing becomes less prominent. Paul

My favorite walk around lens...the 15~85mm....the bee was very cooperative...lol. I have a very little bit of light burn center top...I will fix this eventually.

I was just driving along...saw the field of flowers, stopped and said, Let's do this.

Photography has really enhanced my life, my living.

I don't think the flower is too red. It's clearly in shadow. Besides, the bee commands the most attention. Moving really slowly to be frozen at 1/320. Which lens?
