Just before this shot the owl had a mouse, ate it, and here it's on it's way back to
the perch where it had been sitting when we got there.

Heck, I thought he was landing...looking at or for a mouse in the stalk clearing. Traveller

Excellent, was he on the ground by the corn stalks just starting his takeofft when you snapped this? Paul

I was thinking of entering a swan shot, I have a lot of those, but as I was looking through some shots, I came across the snowy pics.
I have thousands of swan pics, maybe a couple hundred snowy shots down to maybe a dozen snowy in flight shots.
But yeah, I have a few hundred thousand shots that I can look though to post in exhibition.

Your inventory is awesome and your ability to access specific images impressive. Did you just remember you had this owl shot when you read this challenge's rules?

Just a super fine shot; and a perfect fit to the challenge.

OK, it's over, you win! What makes this most extraordinary is the turning of the owl's head and the, almost but not entirely, human-like emotional expression on the owl. Best Wishes, (thanks for letting me see this) Traveller
