1st - The New King

Although it's probably a female.
I wish it didn't have a tracking collar on.

I may have to try to Photoshop that out.

I think on the lawn would be the biggest problem.
If it was still on the tree, you may be able to get a light source behind it,
you may be able to blur the background, if the background was far enough away.
But a leaf on the ground, to isolate it, could be tough. Maybe spotlight it?
I know, wait til fall, when the leaf changes color, then take the shot. :D

Just curious because so much of the image is shades of beige. The lighting and composition do a fine job of isolating the subject.

Imagine a large, green leaf in the middle of a lush lawn. Probably a similar peak. How would the photographer make that one leaf stand out among the many smaller ones?

Thanks guys. Dave, i'm interested in your statement, I wonder what the histogram looks like.
All of the photos I've looked at over the years, that thought hasn't entered my mind.
What kind of info are you interested in from the histogram?
I can tell you that there isn't much to the left of right, just a big bump in the middle.
