I've looked at this for a while now. As I was once a grower of roses (56 bushes at the peak) I find this fascinating. I never had a rose climb so high above the main bush. You have a lot more shade in the area than I did, so I suspect it is reaching for the sun. It makes for a fun and fine picture; and nicely caught against a white cloud with blue sky nearby.. Jim

Thanks. There's a backstory to this. My wife's late mother adored roses, so our rose garden is in part a tribute to her. She also loved clowns, which we celebrate every Thanksgiving. Someone with a keen eye (of which there are many here) should be able to spot something featured in a previous challenge entry. Dave
