I really do like this lens - a real nice "walk about" lens; I was in the servo mode. I was standing on the rail for these races which added to the challenge. They were close and coming by fast. Actually for this set of shots I was trying to capture the horse's head and rider, so I got what I wanted.I was changing the zoom as they came by. The quarter horse races were harder to shoot - they really flew by and were more bunched together. I had one on the rail about 3-4 ft from me. Jim
That's a pretty sharp photo that TAMMY appears to be a decent lens. Framing might be a touch off but still looks great. Were you using servo mode? Paul.
