This aircraft was converted to a water bomber in 1963
In 2012 the Philippine Mars was taken out of service and repainted with its original military markings for it's debut at the National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, Fla. But Heritage Canada blocked the move, so it sits at Sproat Lake, Port Alberni, B.C. awaiting a resolution to the dispute.
