Traveller - if you are referring the blue dress in the Tumacacori photo, it is a "new" dress in that it is a ceremonial dress and is seldom worn. I replaced it with the semi opaque B&W to give it a more ghostly look.
I like this very much....the colors are deep and real, yet not over done...you could use this as a test image to measure others against....I can see nothing wrong about this....cf your Southwest Church....the Indian women's dress looks just too new to me and maybe could have been tuned down a little with maybe the burn too....but this is perfect in tone, color and textures.
