Using a technique developed by Ansel Adams I managed to get this shot the way I wanted it through some processing techniques. In 1939 Ansel Adams used a technique called Overexposure Solarization to get his infamous shot called "The Black Sun".
The photo is aptly named after an article I read in the most recent November/December 2012 issue of American Photo about this very technique.
