Yes, I miss Mr Puffs wonderful masterpieces and his thoughtful comments.

Apple made a big thing about the camera in the iPhone, realising it is the only camera many people will be carrying everywhere. They made a video about the work that went into designing it, so I think they will not let the quality fall on the next version, and hopefully it will improve further.

Regards, -Najinsky.

there is nothing more convenient than a phone camera. as indicated by paul sumi, it's aways with you. i really want them to perfect it. the new iphone 5 is coming soon and will have a larger lcd screen and bigger mp camera, 8 i believe, but will the camera be as good as my 4g?

ok. i'm going now to my computer to take a look at some dumb shots i took yesterday down in washington depot, ct. if nothing else, and if i ok them on the large screen, i may enter them into eligible. either way, i will tinker with them first.

thanks paul for you suggstion about the g9. that's a good one and i still have it, but comes in a case and since i have a tiny purse i carry around, the iphone fits nicely. a bit of laziness on my part i'm sure. LOL shu

.......and, BTW, do we miss michael puff or not? think i will look for his latest works on the internet!

The iPhone can do it without a doubt but do you still have your G9 camera? It is far lighter and portable than a XXD or XXXD body and lens and produces a pretty dang good image. Paul

thank you for leaving these nice comments! i'm afraid the iphone must be my tool of choice these days. i enjoy using the various apps and taking the iphone images into CS3 for a closer look and some additional fine tuning. i admire those of you who do sensational work w your marvelous high-end equipment and i must admit i am envious, even tho i know the most important tool a photographer has is his eye. your great images bear that out, imo. shu

Excellent work shu, and despite your concerns in the discussion thread, it looks to me like you're already well on top of the topic. Regards, -Najinsky
