Wild in the Sink

.
.
This is my kitchen sink...I would be embarrassed having something actually growing in the left side of my sink...but I have purposefully not cleaned or used the left side.

Why?

There was something growing there...it is bigger now, and I presume that as the weeks past...it will even grow larger still.

What is is?

A Tree?

I hope a corn stalk....food ready to be picked!

Well, installing copper and sweating, which I cannot do, is distinctly different than Drain work, and pipes removing water from a house or an apartment...since I own both, and do my own work often, people would be stunned what I find in down lines....all of it nasty....lol...just pull any J trap for a ring lost down a sink...it will be an education.

But then, except for Brown Recluse and Black Widows, I don't kill spiders in my house either....the women I've heard go "EEK!" is....fun...lol

Depends of what you mean by "pipe plumbing". I have sweat plenty of copper water plumbing lines along with PVC drain work and I used to service air conditioners so i've also installed and serviced HVAC liquid and suction lines. Cast iron drains, no I have not. Tons and tons of metal conduit work as large as 4". Paul

Thanks Paul...I would not have posted it if I didn't think that the image had some value...to agitate or educate or something.

I may not be Lucian Freud, but I can get down in the wrinkles....ahem

PS Am I the only one to have done some actual pipe plumbing?

Well ugh, I think I agree with the "skip the dinner reservation" comment made earlier by someone. I think I'm gonna vote for this just because, because, because. Paul

It is more than that, I think...it is interesting. It is something wild, arguably in my back yard....It is something not normally seen, and, as I have suggested, if people did a macro of the inside of their sink drain...they would know...as would any plumber, that the accumulated filth and algae is pretty normal.

Nothing unusual here...dirt-wise, except I have purposefully not cleaned the drain and let it grow...

And it is a great..imaginary visual...what will it turn out to be?!~

PS...the Image is purposefully not symmetrical...

Hmmm ... Well, at least it is a fairly symmetrical image! -- Ken

LOL...I am a terrific cook, and maybe you'll build up some general immunity to a vast variety of germs!

Never a bad think.

Not dropping by for dinner at your place

I will add in passing that it is only in macro, with flash, that my sink drain looks....let us be honest...as cruddy as it does. It is interesting to me that to just look at this drain it doesn't look particularly bad....so maybe your sinks are the same...

Though of course without my thingy growing in your sink drain.

(that doesn't sound exactly right...lol)
