Waterfalls

We haven't had much sun since this challenge started. Just rain and a couple tornado watches in my area. Finally, today the rain has stopped. I thought my favorite waterfall might be extremely active after all this rain we've had. I'm glad I went today! It was REALLY active. There were some usual spots I couldn't get to today because they were flooded over. I almost couldn't get down there at all.

I do like this better as I found the bit of sky very distracting. This way I can really appreciate the flow of the water. I especially like the swirl right down the middle coming at us. Very nice! ~Sharon

Oh, and where I was standing... I had to jump over several small streams to get to this spot. There's a nice big flat rock right in front of this waterfall. It wasn't so big yesterday though due to the amount of rain we've had but I was still able to use the area effectively. There used to be another spot down stream where I could get a nice shot of the overpass just behind me here but that was definitely flooded over.

I do have a version that I cropped that way. Here it is. I could have gone one way or the other with the crop and the non crop. I liked them both.

I love the point of view in this, it looks like you are standing mid-stream. Very dramatic! Have you tried cropping it down enough from the top to eliminate the sky on the left side? That might make it an even stronger image? ~Sharon

This one made the trek worthwhile. Nicely done. I especially like the lines defined by the current.
