#3. Oatmeal and Bananas

Seven month old Gillian's favorite lunch, Oatmeal cereal and fresh bananas. Or is it her two fingers? I'm not sure.

If I had to guess I'd say the color profile was the problem and it makes perfect sense.
I've had very good luck with Costco printing as long as I by default turn off the "Auto correct" feature. I can't believe how bad their auto correct feature is. Wretched!

This correction looks much much better, those eyes are simply amazing.

I'll also add that if my colors ever look off or odd I'd want someone to tell me so I can make corrections pronto!

Paul, I've also noted that if I leave my PS CS4 color profile set for the Costco printer I use, I get terrible colors here. If I reset the color profile to "Windows RGB" I get better color quality here. I often forget to make that little change.

Paul, I have noticed that what I see on my calibrated monitor and what I see on the PBase site are not always the same. In fact, there are time when PBase is dreadful. I've tweaked the color just a bit.

I asked about the monitor because I am seeing a healthy amount of green hue and overall the colors don't quite look right to me. I don't remember seeing that in your previous images. Paul.

Well, she's a real cutie! And this is a good shot as well. Your capture of her eyes is outstanding.

Paul, No, I haven't gotten the new monitor.

I've settled on the Asus 25.5 monitor that's 1920x1200 pixels.

Mrs. Pops has invoked the "Birthday Rule" on me. Since my birthday is coming up, I'm not allowed to buy myself anything lest I spoil a gift. And as soon as my birthday passes she'll invoke the "Christmas Rule" (same song, second verse) so if it's not a gift I'll probably get it in 2011.
