Too weird for me, but colors are outstanding.

I like this orientation, too! ~Sharon

Love the colors and perspective, etc. I like it better rotated 90 degrees so the granite is on the bottom, but thats me. Great interpertation. Stan P

I played around with that a little more last night with your instructions, I'm doing much better with it now. Square up the image..... Who knew!! I'll look around my hard drive for the right image to play with. I'm also going to work thru the links you sent.

This may be a interesting possibility for a future challenge.

Yep, Sharon is spot-on this was just one single wide angle shot of a country scene with granite boulders in the foreground.

A little manipulation and the application of "Polar Coordinates" found in the "Filters" menu item in PS does the trick.

Hardly even worth one vote because it is so simple... LOL

It is fun though ~ Regards Bob

Paul, I posted "How to make your own planets" in the forum. Both of the tutorials start with multi-exposure panoramas but this can definitely be done with one image as you will see. I hope you will play with this, it is easy and can make wonderful shots like this one! ~Sharon

I would love to have a link to a tutorial. I have seen these many time but never knew what was involved in producing them. I don't even know what they are called. Sphere photography maybe??

One image??? Just one?? Are you just testing me to see how gullible I might be? My mind was telling me that you would have to shoot a few dozen or more to do this.

The answer, Paul, is one! Believe it or not. You can shoot more, as in a panorama, but it can easily be accomplished with one. If you are interested, it is an easy process in photoshop, I can give you a link to instructions. ~Sharon

Yes there some great images up there already but this is a real eye catcher. I really like this and if I could give you 5 votes I would!

How many images do you need to shoot to do one of these? Paul Alters

Thank you Sharon, Trav, Troy and Paul, just did 'a little tweeking' of a pretty boring scene and squeezed a little more colour from the frame... :-)

Appreciate your comments but there are some great compositions already, regards Bob

My comments comes with a warning! I hope you are mentally prepared to possibly host a challenge because I predict that both of your entries will very strong contenders. This one is my favorite of the two. Very nice, love the deep rich colors! Paul Alters
