i can't overlook making a comment, michael. i admire your professional use of PS tools but most of all, it's your artistic ability that makes every one of your images phenomenal!

in this one, i like the textured b/g (color), the pattern in the garment and the little earring detail is certainly a head-shaker! the whitening of the skin adds so much to the surreal look of the image.

congrats! shu

Michael Puff is an Artist (capital A)! I thought of shooting a teardrop for this challenge, but I would never have come to such an artistic interpretation.

Color and balance and texture....your models are the ones lucky that you photograph them...usually a photographer is lucky to have the occasional good model, but they are lucky to have you. Best Wishes, Traveller

Edit: Oh damn, maybe the most important thing...lol...the title could NOT be better.

Sensational Michael! You really are long overdue on publishing a coffee table book so we can enjoy your wonderful images while away from the computer. Regards, -Najinsky

Thanks guys. Nico, I have no idea and I'm not sure if I could repeat it! It's some bizarre combination of photograph, warping, liquify, painting, lens flare, and layer blending. I did learn that to blend successfully into other layers the water needs a black background with lots of white to the sides, top, bottom to create the reflections. -Michael

WoW! :Ð that bar just got nudged higher. Seeing this make me feel like the amateur photographer I am. To me it's a perfect blend of subject, color, exposures and Photoshop. A perfect fit for the challenge. My hat is off to you Mr. Puff Paul Alters

Fabulous, Michael. It is a stunning image... the white skin, the purple hair, the background, everything. How did you do the waterdrop? Compliments. Nico
