1st Place "Charged Atmosphere" by Sam Rua

Tucson, AZ

A little atmospheric energy from a storm that rolled through the area. Taken from my home looking SE towards Tucson, AZ.

I cloned out a radio tower on the far left because of the wide angle lens distortion.

Yes. I agree with all of that. This is my favorite of the two and it's a fantastic capture. I've tried to get some lightning shots myself over the years, and none of mine ever came out this good! I like the radio towers and the city lights in the background. It gives it a sense of scale. Excellent! Jim H.
