"why are you still carrying the woman?" referring to the two (celibate) monks crossing a river, one of whom carries a woman and the other, miles later in their journey, asks of whether it had been appropriate to have carried her.
I met this group of monks in Mae Hong Son province (North Thailand) during my tour to Tham Lod Bat Cave.
