6th Place "Ghostly Strollers" by Pops

The "Atlanta" Flickr group had a photo stroll in Oakland Cemetery. They spent the morning shooting in the historic cemetery. Almost every stroll has a group shot and this was my contribution. Only one of the pictured photographer's has ever entered a challenge here. Most of them have been told about the challenges and encouraged to enter.

I keep chuckling to myself over "I was flattered to even be considered to be killed on the stroll". Nicely done. -Michael

Here how I did it:

Two exposures, one with photographers, one without.

The one "without" was the base layer. Two copies of the one "with" were pasted in layers above the base layer. The middle layer was made partially transparent and only the faces on the top layer were not erased.

Of course I used a tripod.... That make me think of another I can add to Exhibition... LOL

Ohhhhh....thanks. Really.

It is always good to learn things, and I do understand from your excellent description.

ITP - You weren't even supposed to be there so I had to take your Headstone Note and your response off the photo. I can put it back if you want.

HamWithCam says:
Very cool Joe -- nicely done!

InsideThePerimeter (ITP) says:
No problem Pops, I was flattered to even be considered to be killed on the stroll. :-)

Pops. says:
ITP - The stroll just didn't seem right with you not there.

mister wombat says:
LOVE this. great job.
y'all were missed.

catgotti says:
MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
I love you guys you make me laugh and I plan on getting to know every one of you better!

Mystery 770 says:
I wished I had been able to go.

Flickr allows us to put "Notes" on photographs. I had put a "headstone" note for those Flickr friends who said they would be there but did not show up, hence my comments to ITP and his response.

Nice, a double exposure I suppose? If I or anyone wanted to do this, how would they? Thanks for any insight you might provide....just curious, I have done this by accident, but never on purpose.
