Whoa!!!!!!! Don't think I'll be trying this myself, but you certainly do some amazing IR work. I'd guess any glass shop could cut the glass, and I'm assuming the thickness can vary some as you've shown here. With used cameras being so inexpensive these days, might not be too difficult an undertaking. Or at least as expensive to try. Thanks, great tip.

I have the old Canon Powershot G1 and I took it on a recent backpacking trip and was amazed with the quality of pictures it can still produce (I shoot with a DSLR now).

Next time, you may modify a DSLR or make a DC.

very interesting. How did you make the hand made glass. Does the camera even needs it. Why is the thickness diferrent?
