The Oracle/BMW and Alinghi camps both agreed to limit racing to 25 knot wind maximums during the Moët Cup. When this photo was taken, the wind was right at the limit. The boats were designed for Auckland winds of between 15 to 22 knots, and they turn into total beasts in winds above those limits. ACC boats are like Grand Prix cars, ...they don't work very well on "rough roads".
