Flying Monkey In A Dog Costume- Fiona

Fiona was born 2/14/08 and started life in a dog shelter in Ohio. There was such lack of care and interest in this little girl, that she was actually thought to be a BOY and named Toby. She then ended up with a foster family that kept her in a horse barn until she was formally adopted by me! I know she is half Yellow Lab, the rest is a mystery. What is NOT a mystery is that Fiona is the cleverest, quickest little dog you could hope to meet. Everyone else's unwanted "problem" turned out to be my treasure.

Fiona looks like a real handfull. I can see where she would be a great companion. This is a beautiful gallery which shows the love you have for this dog. Great job in compiling these shots. V.

I am so happy to have found your photo album and that you are willing to share. Fiona reminds me so much of our pooch named Kiyomi. Kiyomi was rescued from a shelter were she was found as a stray as a baby. Kiyomi is a Korean Jindo and has lots and lots of energy, for sure not a first time pet, but they warned us of that. Sure enough three hours at the off leash park and tons of dogs and people to play with does not slow her down. But we dearly love her as she has only made our quality of life better. She is the heart of the family and take her everywhere that we go. Thank you for sharing your amazing pictures and that you are able to provide Fiona a loving home.

Oh my goodness! I just happened to stumble upon your website and some of your photos are very close to the same poses I have taken of my dog. Not only that, they look as though they could have been brother and sister!

However their differences are vast. Unfortunatley my dog passed away two years ago this December. He was 13 and, as your dog, had a great life!

With that said, my dog was male, lived in Western NY, SW of Buffalo. He too was a lab mix and blonde color with golden highlights. He was Golden, Black Lab and White Shephard. I believe your dog has Shephard in her too. Their facial expressions are the same....I can go on and on. Of course I miss my dog but this brought a smile to my face.

I hope anyone who looks at this Gallery gets the message...Dogs in Pounds need to be rescued, don't EVER buy a dog in a pet store, or from breeders!

Hi Christina, Love your gallery, I looked on in awe, your Fiona looks just like my 7 yr old Happy Trails right down to the ears, one goes this way and the other that way, also from the shelter in St Pete, I found him at 8 weeks. I can only say everyone loves him especially the kids. I can see you also found a Gem!

Love the whole gallery; however, "The Escape" - "Taunting" and "Heading For The Door" really give a sense of her speed. Great motion captures, love the effect you got.
