These images are from our last vacation in 2011, a road trip to Ireland, visiting the bits we didn't see when we went there last time, in 2009.
We took a car ferry from Holyhead, in Wales, to Dublin, then proceeded south, through the magnificent and wild Wicklow Mountains, following the Military Road (built after the 1798 uprising) for a while, then along the coast towards Wexford and Waterford. After a brief tour of the crystal factory, we headed towards Cork and Blarney. We spent a few days touring around the south west peninsulars of Kerry, Beara and Dingle before heading northwards through the centre, via Athlone and Enniskillen, towards Belleek, to check out the pottery works, and then across to Belfast for a few days there, at the end.
