The images presented within this gallery were taken on a late spring journey through the highlands and deserts of Southern Utah and Northern Arizona on sometimes perceptibly precipitous roads that never acknowledged the existence of that nerve calming phenomenon, the guardrail.
The 'switchback' now has a permanent place in my anxiety closet.
