Billiard table at Cragside Victorian house

Cragside was the first house in the world to be powered by Hydroelectricity, those Victorians where clever buggers. The best thing about this historical exhibit is, they not only let you touch it, you can play on it too. :-)

marvellous perspective...the reds like poppies in a meadow...fascinating to learn that electricty was introduced to illuminate a billiard table..well splayed balls suggest a good run is possible...V
