Meteorite crater Gosse Bluff

Central Australia

Gosses Bluff or Tnorala represents a complex impact crater with a central uplift feature
which was generated 145 million years ago
by a high velocity impact of a meteorite or cometary nucleus
plunging into the plains near the western end of the Macdonnell Range.
