Darrell Scott is a great songwriter and musician. Over forty of his songs have been recorded by artists such as the Dixie Chicks, Travis Tritt, Sara Evans, Garth Brooks, Patty Loveless, Brad Paisley, and others. He has played guitar on recordings by Patty Loveless, Randy Travis, Steve Earle, Trisha Yearwood, and many more. He has a couple of songwriter of the year awards.

This album, "THEATRE OF THE UNHEARD" is a great album with an interesting story as well. The songs were written in Boston between 1986 and 1990 before Darrell moved to Nashville. He got a big record deal and recorded these songs. The record company had a five minute meeting and decided not to release the album.

Darrell felt so strongly about these songs as a writer that he gathered friends that he considers masters of music, voice, and sound and re-recorded them eleven years later. So....here is a great collection of tunes....a blend of folk, country, rock, and a little jazz. Thanks Darrell!
