!!!!!!!!

I shot photos Friday night, no problem. Saturday, the 3rd, we went to an outdoor wedding.
It was beautiful. Pulled out the camera and nothing happened. The camera won't turn on.
The battery is fully charged, it was taken out and replaced, changed the lens, took out the CF
and replaced it. NOTHING…nada. And, of course, my warranty just ran out.

Sucky!!!!! My vote goes for crying to the CANON rep. Do you want to borrow my Fuji? Not quite as nice, but it could hold ya over.

oh no

Best of luck! They may still honor the warranty.

POOOOOOOOOO

But at least my latest experience with Canon was good. They are QUICK on the repair (especially if you cry on the phone to a rep!)

What a freaking drag! I'd still try to get them to honor the warranty. One day? I'd be all pitiful. Usually works. :) Good luck.

Aw, hope very much that it's nothing too serious.

Hope it's not too serious Cheryl.

something similar happened to me about 2 weeks ago, I turned on my camera checked some images, turned off change the CF, turned on again and nothing happened. I changed the batery (full batery ofcourse) and nothing, until I opened and closed again the batery compartment tried tu be sure that the batery was ok in contact, then turned on again, and guess what?

Turned on and has been working without problems.
