Calico Odessa Railroad

Calico Ghost Town, California

The train was installed here in 1958 and takes visitors on an 8 minute ride through the hills to see historical sights, mining equipment and hear historical points.
When the town was a booming silver mining town in the late 1800s, there was a 10 mile narrow gauge Calico Railroad that was dismantled around the turn of the century.
