One of my favorites from your recent posts.The metal seems to shimmer like liquid gold.As if the knocker and screw head are floating by strange surface tension.I really like the shadows and highlights on the knocker which allude to its solid roundness.Very cool shot! V!!!

Actually Sheila... this is not a knocker but a rather a period (1700) doornob. You tip it right or left to open the door.

I did the light keyhold by necessity. This image has a 2 sec exposure... still a bit dark in the chapel even at noon. I tried merging two images (one exposed for forground and one for keyhole). In the end I opted for simple. Thanks for your comment.

Oh, last time I looked I couldn't post .
I just love the copper door & brass knocker here. Wondering what there is to see through the keyhole. Wishing I could see another version where the keyhole is darker, but guess you did it light on purpose.
