excellent sunset.... using the tree's as framing elements, and as silhouettes to show the detail in them adds a lot of interest. And it is good and sharp.

Well this is a very tranquil picture! The kind they put on posters, either in a student's bedroom or at the doctor's surgery to keep the patients calm. Now the long days are all very well, but remember you would have to go out much later for a sunset and get up ultra-early for the sunrise ;-)

Interesting question Cliff... This is the James River near where it enters the Atlantic. The tides have a big affect on water levels and the river rises significantly at high tide. Though I suspect these trees are growing in the water naturally as they do all along the river.

In my eyes...this is a spectacular sunset. You truly emphasized this entire picture with the silhouettes of those trees. Truly beautiful. I would have loved to be there to see such a pretty sunset.
