Attributed to Polykeitos the Younger in about 350 BC, the theater at Epicaurus is the largest and best preserved outdoor theater from antiquity.
The theater has 50 rows of marble benches radiating around an "orchestra" where the action took place
The acoustics are so perfect that a voice from the center of the orchestra can be easily heard from the topmost seats.
