Carolyn on the climb over Hatshepsut's Temple

One of the most interesting things to do on the West Bank is to climb over the ancient tomb workers' path (from Pharonic times) between DIer el Bahri and the Valley of the Kings.
The path ascends quickly over a rocky incline to a high point on a cliff overlooking Hatshepsut's Temple (fabulous view from above), and then decends into the Valley of the Kings on a steep shale trail.
