This tourist captures an image of Hagia Sophia's interior. You can see the Islamic symbols that are located
on huge discs in each of the four corners of the museum as well as some remains of decoration that
was destroyed at some point in history. None of the original 6th century figural mosaics remain.
To get a sense of the immense scale of Hagia Sophia, look at the visitors on the balcony in the background between the two Islamic discs.
